Welcome
Welcome to my website, I am so glad you're here.

With 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry I feel that acupuncture is an amazing way to introduce more self care, improved wellbeing, better sleep and reduced pain. I offer acupuncture at Vitality House in West Leederville, Earth Point Evolution in Fremantle and at Sanus Wellness in North Beach. Here's how I can help support you:

Acupuncture
Using very fine, sterile needles- I will select specific points according to your needs to help bring balance, increased circulation and a reduction in aches or pains.
Cupping or Gua Sha
These are two brilliant ways to reduce muscular tension or pain in the body, and have been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. Plus it feels amazing.
Workshops
I hold group workshops either solo or with other practitioners on using Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine to support your health & wellbeing.
Hello, I'm Amy!

I am a mother of three, an Acupuncturist and Lecturer at Endeavour. Two decades ago I fell in love with acupuncture while I was studying music at WAAPA. I had chronic wrist issues from years of playing guitar, and eventually sought help from an Acupuncturist to alleviate my pain. I was also surprised at how positively it affected my hormones and stress levels, so I shifted my career ambitions from music to health.
Initially I started with sports & remedial massage clinics in Cottesloe/ Swanbourne/ Nedlands and became well versed in all things pain or injury related.
Once my own motherhood journey began- I pivoted and created Australia's first pregnancy day spa (in Perth & Sydney). I have since opted for a quieter existence while I navigate my own journey through motherhood (hello teenagers + toddlers!)

I personally feel like the level of stress we are currently under is pretty out of control. Burnout, low immunity, poor digestion, hormone imbalance, sleep disturbance, mental health issues and fertility issues are stemming from this undue stress. It's my personal mission to help guide people back to a space of self care, time for rest, nourishment and finding joy from the simple things in life... and of course- to utilise the benefits of TCM and acupuncture in doing so.

"I'm so grateful that I had Amy to support me through a very challenging time in my life. My weekly visits were always an absolute highlight and made me feel good again."
Jess, Bicton

How can I help?
-
Women's HealthIf you are suffering with a women's health condition such as: - Painful periods - Pelvic pain - Irregular cycles - PCOS - Endometriosis - Unexplained infertility - Hormone imblanace Then I may be able to help you. Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture is used to holistically treat each individual with the benefits of being able to support a regular cycle, minimising pain levels and balance out the hormones.
-
Fertility AcupunctureSome couples will integrate acupuncture as part of their preconception care in the lead up to falling pregnant. Other couples may already be on their fertility journey and wanting to use acupuncture to support them through ovulation stimulation, IUI or IVF. It's a fantastic way to soothe the nervous system and help boost your energy levels during this time.
-
Pregnancy AcupunctureI loved having acupuncture especially during my last pregnancy, when I was often too sick/ exhausted to function. You can safely have acupuncture from conception right through past your due date to cover all sorts of ailments that you might be struggling with. Morning sickness, sleep disturbance, constipation, stress, and then towards the end of the pregnancy when you're trying to figure out how to help move labour along.
-
Birth Preparation AcupunctureIn the lead up to your birth- why not introduce some acupuncture to help relax your body and allow your feel good hormones start to soften that cervix in preparation for birth. I would recommend at least one session per week in your 8th/ 9th month, and then twice weekly in the couple of weeks before your due date. It's so nice to slow down before baby arrives.
-
Perimenopause + AcupunctureBeing a woman in her 40's, I totally understand the challenges that a shift in hormones creates during peri-menopause. Having acupuncture to support you during this time is a wonderful way to fill your cup, reduce the feelings of anxiety and overwhelm plus help you feel like yourself again.
-
Preparing for Postpartum WorkshopI love helping expecting parents prepare for what's ahead of them beyond the birth. Join me for a Postpartum Planning workshop where I will show you how you can create a safe and nourishing experience once you are home with the newest addition to your family. Here in Australia, I feel the culture surrounding postpartum needs to look to other countries for inspiration on how a new mother should be held during this time. I will show you exactly how to recreate these beneficial practices, with the focus being on Traditional Chinese Medicine, incorporating some Ayurvedic influence and using food as medicine. Please register your interest in joining me for one of these upcoming workshops.
-
Stress ReductionIf you've noticed that your stress levels are getting too intense, maybe your sleep is started to be affected, or maybe you're already feeling totally burnt out- then let me help guide you back to a place of calm. I love nothing more than to see my clients walk out the door after a session with me looking completely chilled out. I want you to feel grounded, relaxed and more like yourself again.

Pain + Injury ManagementWith years of experience working with injury and pain management (plus having personal experience with my own hip injury) I have a huge amount of empathy and understanding of how pain can significantly impact your life. I use a combination of skills to help increase your range of motion, reduce your level of pain felt and soothe your stress levels.
